2025-2026 Relocation & Construction Updates

Mason Health will be undergoing a series of department relocations and construction projects in 2025-2026.

Updates will be shared on this page on an ongoing basis.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1: Cafeteria Closure -- April 1 to June 30

Starting April 1, the Mason General Hospital’s Cafeteria will be closed to the public.

Inpatient dining will remain open for patients at Mason General Hospital, and alternative food options for Mason Health employees will be provided.
Visitors, volunteers and members of the public are encouraged to plan ahead and bring alternative food options.
Vending machines will be open during the duration of the cafeteria closure.
The cafeteria remodel will allow for streamlined dining service in the cafeteria once the cafeteria re-opens. Later this year, cafeteria-goers will also be able to enjoy new artwork at the cafeteria. The duration of the cafeteria closure is slated to begin April 1 and end on June 30.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15: Mason Clinic-Eye Care Waiting Room Closure -- April 15 to June 30

Starting April 15, the Mason Clinic-Eye Care waiting area will be closed to the public to accommodate construction and expansion in the Eye Care service line. Patients will be redirected to other waiting areas during this time. Mason Health plans to increase the number of providers at Mason Clinic-Eye Care to accommodate this growing need in the community. The duration of the Eye Care waiting room closure is scheduled for April 15 to June 30.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15: Conference Room Closures for MRI Remodel -- April 15 to December 18

Mason Health’s Ellinor and Pershing conference rooms at Mason General Hospital will close temporarily and relocate starting April 15, to accommodate construction for Mason Health’s new high-field open MRI. The new MRI replaces the current open MRI that is nearing end-of-life service.

The Washington and Skokomish meeting rooms downstairs will remain open until late this year.
Members of the public can expect to be redirected to the downstairs meeting rooms for workshops, community classes and special events.
The Ellinor and Pershing conference room closures will re-open at a new location downstairs in December. The duration of the upstairs conference room closures is April to December.
