Arla Shephard Bull

Arla Shephard Bull joined the Mason Health Development Team in 2019. She came to the organization as an award-winning journalist with more than 12 years of experience in the field of journalism, with prior publication at The Seattle Times, Washingtonian Magazine, Seattle Weekly, High Country News, the Shelton-Mason County Journal and Belfair Herald and most recently The Kitsap Sun. In 2018, she was named the North Mason Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year. Since 2020, she has served the children of North Mason as a school board member for North Mason School District.

Arla is also a published creative non-fiction writer and poet and enjoys traveling the world (when it is safe) with her husband, Garrett, sons, Hendrix and Oz, and dog, Sasha.
