Laura Grubb
Laura Grubb has been with the District since 1990. She is a graduate of the College of Saint Scholastica with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Administration. She also served as the Director of Health Information Management until 2017 and took her current position in 2018. During her tenure with Mason Health she has directed Utilization Review, Regulatory Compliance, Privacy, and Medical Staff Quality. Grubb has over 38 years of experience in the health care field and is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, American Health Information Association, and Washington State Health Information Management Association.
Laura’s volunteerism includes being an active member of her church outreach, The American Cancer Society and serves in a leadership capacity for the Tacoma Community College Health Information Management BAS Program Board, Washington Rural Health Collaborative and Washington Hospital Services.

Environmental Stewardship
In 2021, Mason Health earned its first Environmental Excellence Award from Practice Greenhealth, the nation's leading organization dedicated to environmental sustainability in health care. The District won the award again in 2022.
Grubb was a member of the Green Team of department heads and frontline health care workers formalizing the District’s sustainable health care initiatives.
