MASON HEALTH’S KELLY NORTH STEPS INTO NEW ROLE AS DIRECTOR OF CLINIC OPERATIONS AT MASON CLINIC

Release Date: Jan 02, 2025

SHELTON, WA – Mason Health is proud to announce that Kelly North has been promoted to Director of Clinic Operations, overseeing all Mason Clinic operations, including Mason Clinic-Hoodsport. North, who joined Mason Health in November 2019, has been a pivotal figure in the organization’s growth and success, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for patient care and operational excellence.

“I am incredibly excited to take on this new role,” North said. “This is a career path I’ve been working toward for years. Mason Health has been wonderful to work for, and I’m thrilled to continue making a difference within the clinic system, improving processes and supporting our incredible teams.”

North’s promotion comes as a natural progression of her career and dedication. She played a critical role in managing the integration of Mason Health’s primary care clinics into the Mason Clinic building during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her leadership has fostered team development, standardized processes, and enhanced collaboration across departments. She is especially proud of her contributions to creating a team-oriented environment that prioritizes patient experience and care.

In her new position, North will focus on operational and strategic leadership across the clinics, collaborating closely with providers, department managers, and teams to identify and implement improvements that benefit both patients and staff. She aims to build upon her achievements in primary care by working more closely with specialty practices, care coordination, and other integral departments.

“Kelly has developed a stellar reputation for her collaborative approach and unwavering commitment to patient and provider satisfaction,” said Eric Moll, Chief Executive Officer of Mason Health. “Her leadership, work ethic, and dedication to rural health care make her an exceptional choice for this role. We’re excited to see her vision come to life as she transitions into this position.”

North’s extensive career spans over three decades in health care. A Washington native, she began her journey in the field during high school in Everett, later spending 24 years with Western Washington Medical Group. She held numerous roles there, ultimately serving as Practice Administrator. After moving to Port Angeles in 2011, she served for eight years as Clinic Manager at Olympic Medical Physicians, where she oversaw general surgery, women’s health, and walk-in clinics.

Since joining Mason Health, North has achieved notable milestones, including becoming a Certified Rural Health Care Professional in 2023 and being named an Employee of the Month in 2023. Outside of work, North enjoys yardwork, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
